Sisters will be Sisters
I overheard the follow conversation between my daughters this afternoon.
La Nina: "Maggie lets play Dora."
Magster: "OK"
La Nina: "I'll be Dora. You be Boots."
Magster: "Ok, Car-Car."
For those of you who don't know, Boots is a monkey who has a yellow belly and wears nothing but rain boots. I was a little worried the rest of the afternoon that La Nina would strip her sister and paint her belly yellow! I am happy to report my vigilance paid off and the Magster remained dressed, her belly paint-free. The poor younger sister type cast as a side-kick monkey at the age of 2.

Gracie would make a great boots...she strips down and walks around in just boots all the time...It is cute when they play together! (instead of trying to kill each other, or is that just at my house??)

Hey, at least Carly picked Boots. She could have wanted her to be Tico the (larcenous)squirrel (have you noticed that he seems to have alot of cars for a serape wearing rodent? I think he boosts 'em) or worse the Grumpy Old Troll, or perennial villian Swiper. Be more afraid that Carly will want "Boots" to get stuck in the gooey geyser...the possibilities for disaster are endless!!

Thanks for the comments. The funniest reponse came from my younger sister. It was basically a list of wrongs committed against her during our childhood. Geez, who knew she would have such a long memory?
As for trying to kill each other, oh yes, that is my house too. But mine generally play together quite nicely, as long as the Magster follows her sister's plan.
