We Made It!
We are in China. After almost 19 hours and two flights, we were met at the airport by our agency's China Team. The mysterious Max is here already handling arrangements. We ran into him in the lobby of the hotel this afternoon. (Note to Group 66/67- no Christmas tree or Bing Crosby music yet).
We flew with 2 other families that we met at the airport in the US. Of the families we flew with, we won the contest for the biggest bags, but hey, we are 2nd timers and we know what we like. This afternoon we went shopping and bought a stroller. Tonight we are having a quiet dinner with other families and tomorrow morning the big group arrives.
We have seen a couple of other babies out and about with their new families. It is always very exciting to see this. It makes it more real that Maggie will be in our arms in less than 48 hours. We are 16 hours ahead of West Coast time. At about 8pm, Sunday, November 14th, Pacific Standard Time, Maggie will be in our arms.
